Peyton Manning to the Dolphins?
It very likely Peyton Manning isn’t going to return to the Colts which is great news for almost every team in the NFL. Jim Irsay for some reason, I call it the Jerry Jones syndrome, he just doesn’t want to shut up about the situation.
With the Colts effectively ending the Peyton era in Indianapolis, many teams will be interested in his services. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has been reported to be “infatuated” with the idea of signing Manning. If you’re a Dolphins fan you’re extremely excited about this since the Dolphins haven’t had an above average quarterback since Dan Marino retired.
After watching the Pro Bowl and seeing what Brandon Marshall, you can only be excited about a Manning to Marshall combination.
Ross said that he’d be willing to wait as long as it takes for the opportunity to sign Manning. This is the best news the Dolphins have heard in years, even though it’s just a rumor.
