Denver, Guard this man!

So, I was watching the Denver Nuggets playing their third game in three nights against the Portland Trail Blazers. I don’t care much for either team, but I do care for my fantasy basketball team(s).

Going into the game my team was down by one 3 pointer made and three points with Nicholas Batum playing for the Blazers and for my fantasy basketball opponent. It’s important to note that Batum was question for the game with a knee contusion and throughout the game was limping around.

So, while watching the game the Blazers play-by-play announcers, whose names I don’t know, continuously mention that Batum plays well against the Nuggets. Why does this happen? Because they Nuggets for some reason love to leave him wide open which is exactly what a man who’s limping around and can barely move is looking for! Let’s just say Batum had a great game and my fantasy team is now down 9 threes and 27 points.

FYI: Hey Denver Nuggets if you want to know why Batum plays well against you guys, take a look at the game tape and note that he’s wide open all the time!

Batum’s Final Statline: 33 points, 11-19 from the field, 2-3 from the line, 9 threes, 3 steals and 1 blocks. Damn!

This is exactly why Fantasy Basketball is so stressful!
